Terms of Service
Last updated August 19, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of CleanScout, including our website, application, and related services (together, the “Service”). By creating an account, starting a subscription, or using CleanScout, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who we are and what CleanScout does
CleanScout helps commercial cleaning companies find and contact potential clients. The Service is built for janitorial and commercial cleaning businesses that want to grow their client base without spending hours prospecting manually.
Depending on your plan, the Service may let you:
- tell us your city, service radius, and the types of customers you want (for example offices, medical offices, warehouses, retail, fitness centers, or property management);
- find customers in your service area that may need commercial cleaning or janitorial service;
- see decision-maker contact details, such as a facility manager, office manager, operations manager, or owner;
- send personalized outreach and keep track of follow-ups and replies in one place.
CleanScout is a software tool. We do not bid on jobs for you, clean for those customers, or enter contracts with the businesses we help you find.
2. Eligibility and your organization
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. CleanScout is intended for business use by commercial cleaning companies, not for personal or consumer use.
When you sign up, we create a workspace for your cleaning company (an “Organization”). You are responsible for everyone you invite to that Organization, for the accuracy of the information you provide (including your company name), and for keeping login credentials confidential.
If you sign in with Google, you authorize us to receive the account information Google shares for authentication.
3. Subscription, pricing, and cancellation
CleanScout is offered as a monthly subscription. The current plan is $50 per month, billed in USD, and includes the features described on our pricing page, such as new potential customers each month, decision-maker contact details, personalized outreach, automated follow-ups, and reply tracking.
There is no long-term contract. You may cancel at any time from billing settings in the Service. Cancellation stops future renewals. You keep access through the end of the period you have already paid for, unless we terminate the account earlier for a breach of these Terms.
Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us and Stripe to charge the payment method on file for each renewal until you cancel. Prices exclude any taxes that may apply. Failed payments may interrupt or end access after Stripe’s retry period.
Only Organization owners and admins may start, change, or cancel a subscription. All members of the Organization share that subscription.
We may change the price or plan features with notice before the change applies to your next renewal. If you do not agree, cancel before the renewal date.
4. What we do not promise
We work to find customers in your service area and the people who typically hire a janitorial contractor. That does not mean:
- a customer needs cleaning, is changing contractors, or will take a meeting;
- a contact name, title, email, or phone number is current or complete;
- you will win a contract, add recurring revenue, or book a set number of customers.
Examples on the website (including sample searches and prospect lists) are illustrations, not a guarantee of results in your market.
5. Prospect and contact data
Potential-client records and contact details may come from public sources, third-party data providers, and information you enter. We do not warrant that this data is accurate, complete, or fit for a particular outreach.
You may use prospect and contact data only to find and contact potential commercial cleaning clients for your Organization. You may not resell, publish, sublicense, or use that data to build a competing list or service.
If someone asks you to stop contacting them, you must stop. You are responsible for honoring opt-outs and for any suppression lists you maintain.
6. Outreach and your legal responsibilities
When you send email or other messages through CleanScout, you are the sender. You are responsible for the content of those messages and for complying with all laws that apply to your outreach. That includes, where applicable, the U.S. CAN-SPAM Act, state anti-spam and telemarketing rules, and similar laws in any other place you contact.
You agree that you will:
- send truthful, professional messages about commercial cleaning or janitorial services you actually offer;
- include required identification and a working way to opt out, where the law requires it;
- not use the Service to send spam, phishing, deceptive claims, or messages to people who have asked you to stop;
- not imply that CleanScout is the sender, or that we endorse a particular bid or cleaning contract.
7. Acceptable use
You may not:
- use the Service for anything other than legitimate commercial-cleaning business development;
- scrape, copy, or bulk-export data except through features we provide for your Organization;
- attempt to access another Organization’s workspace, interfere with the Service, or bypass usage limits;
- upload malware, or use the Service to harass, defraud, or harm anyone;
- reverse engineer the Service or use it to build a competing product.
8. Your content and our rights
You keep ownership of content you submit, such as your company name, service-area settings, and outreach copy (“Your Content”). You grant us a license to host, process, and display Your Content as needed to operate and improve the Service.
CleanScout, including our name, logo, website, software, and documentation, is owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not transfer any ownership to you. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your Organization while your subscription is in good standing.
9. Availability and changes to the Service
We aim to keep CleanScout available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, suspend, or discontinue features, including how we find customers or contacts, as we improve the product.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Service will produce new clients, that prospect data is error-free, or that outreach will be delivered or read.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CleanScout and its owners, officers, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost business, lost data, or replacement costs, even if we were told they were possible.
Our total liability for all claims arising out of these Terms or the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the three months before the claim.
12. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify CleanScout against claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) that arise from Your Content, your outreach, your use of prospect or contact data, or your breach of these Terms or applicable law.
13. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these Terms, if payment fails, or if we reasonably believe your use creates legal or security risk.
After termination, your right to use the Service ends. We may delete Organization data after a reasonable period, except where we must keep records for legal, billing, or security reasons.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will provide notice through the Service or by email. Continued use after the updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, cancel and stop using the Service.
15. General
These Terms are the entire agreement between you and CleanScout about the Service and replace any prior discussions on the same subject. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest still applies. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, sale, or reorganization.
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in New Zealand have exclusive jurisdiction, except that we may seek injunctive relief in any jurisdiction to protect our intellectual property or the Service.
These Terms do not create a partnership, employment, or agency relationship. Headings are for convenience only.
16. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be sent through your CleanScout account or the contact details published on our website.
